“Baca”

For this photo I wanted to explore with light and used two LED lights to highlight the raspberries’ colour and texture. One of the lights were placed to the left of the plate, while the other was attached on the top of the camera (see floor plan).

I edited the photo in Photoshop RAW by making the colour stronger, and the shadows around the plate and the vignetting more prominent. I also used different brushes to further enhance the contrasts, and to make the texture of the berries stand out.

I like the simplicity of the photo, as well as the light and colours, but would have liked to explore further using a macro lens to see how well I could have captured these simple berries.
