“Follow Me”

I took many photos this week and have probably found ‘shadow’ the most challenging keyword so far, as shadows don’t always look the way you imagine in your head. Saying that, I really like the shadow the bicycle creates, and the personality and narrative the person riding the bike adds to the photo. I am also pleased with the colours, and the background and shapes from the dock and cranes.

In editing I have enforced the colours in the photo, and worked on making the shadow as distinct as possible.

If I could have taken this photo again I would have attempted to take a similar shot at different times of the day and exploring how diverse the shadows would’ve been.
